Aravinda Devaramane
Engineer turned designer. Educator. Farmer at heart.Aravinda began his journey as an engineer with a leading automotive giant. Over time, his curiosity for human-centered problem-solving led him to the National Institute of Design, where he reimagined his path as a designer.
Since then, he has worked extensively in med-tech devices, mental health platforms, and design-for-impact projects. His work blends deep technical understanding with intuitive design thinking. He also shares his experience through occasional guest lectures, encouraging young minds to approach design with empathy and clarity.
When he’s not building apps or shaping physical products, you’ll find him tending to his farm — because he believes the earth teaches design too.
Why Design Katte
We founded Design Katte to help people turn ideas into reality — no matter what stage they’re in. Our name comes from the Kannada word katte, a platform where people sit, talk, and share. That’s the spirit behind our approach: open conversation, honest collaboration, and building with intention.
We work on everything from industrial products to digital platforms, bringing together design, engineering, and real-world understanding. If you’ve got an idea — half-formed or fully ready — we’re here to sit with it, shape it, and grow it.
