Katte (ಕಟ್ಟೆ) in Kannada means a raised platform or a deck where people sit and have conversations. This could be under a tree or on a patio or near a bus stop or tea stall or a pub or near a well...

Katte is always a democratic place.

We developed the Katte design framework on this democratic conversation philosophy

The conversation is the secret ingredient in designing human-centric experiences that are not only functional but also delightful. Think of it as the rhythmic pulse that drives the heart of design. With each exchange, we uncover new opportunities to connect with users on a deeper level, to understand their unique needs, and to craft tailored solutions that truly resonate.

Through conversation, we create a dynamic dance between the user and the design, one where the user leads and the design follows. This not only makes for more engaging and fulfilling experiences, but it also allows for a more iterative and agile design process, where feedback can be quickly integrated and improvements made in real-time.

And it's not just about the technology behind chatbots or voice assistants. The power of conversation as a framework lies in its ability to tap into the core of human communication – empathy, connection, and storytelling. By embracing this, we can design solutions that not only solve problems but also inspire, comfort, and bring joy.

So let's embrace conversation as the foundation of our design work, and create experiences that are not just functional, but truly human.
